A motorboat gives you the opportunity to experience more in a short time, whether you want to fish, swim, or just enjoy nature from the water.

Own marina
We have our own marina with motorboat rental for a trip on the water in the beautiful surroundings. We are located with direct access to the Svejbæk Narrows, from where you can sail the entire stretch between Silkeborg and Ry, providing abundant opportunities for the most beautiful nature experiences from the water. We naturally have life jackets for everyone.

At least 21 years and experience with watercraft
We do not require a skipper’s license, but the responsible boat operator must be at least 21 years old and have experience on the water. Upon collection of the boat, a passport or driver’s license must be presented, along with a mobile number.

Alcohol and boating is a very bad cocktail!
We reserve the right to refuse guests who appear intoxicated or have large amounts of alcohol with them for the boat.

Not staying overnight?
It is not possible to launch your own boat, canoe, kayak, SUP, or other watercraft from the campsite unless you are an overnight guest at the site.

Our values

Presence & Cozy in fantastic nature

Our campsite is located in the middle of nature, in the forest and by the water. It is a small site with beautiful surroundings.

Many of our guests come back again and again because it is beautiful, scenic, and not least cozy. Our values are to create a place with coziness and presence in our very beautiful and scenic surroundings. There should be room for everyone here, and it is therefore important that we consider each other.

We want to provide high service and wish to be your hosts instead of making a lot of prohibitions. If you desire peace and quiet, then Skyttehuset Outdoor Camp is definitely a fantastic destination for you.

However, you should be aware that during the season we hold some music events, where we enjoy good music on the terrace. The events can be seen in our event calendar, and all music ends at 10 PM.
